My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ice cream, cupcake, fudge, or Blake? What’s your favorite sweet treat? I`d pick Blake anytime! This gentle sweetie is dreaming of a safe furever home, where he can unwind and grow up alongside a loving family! Could it be yours?

At a little over a year old, this guy is just a puppy with so much potential to be an incredible addition to a family. One volunteer shared that Blake recently met a 1-year-old and a 3- year- old child and did well! The kids were quiet and gentle, and Blake slowly approached them and allowed pets, taking treats super gently. Kids should always be taught how to interact appropriately with dogs, as loud noises and quick movements can be scary!

Blake has enjoyed a couple of foster vacations where he was described as a calm and friendly couch potato who loves hugs! He has also gone on several daytrips and was reported to be sociable and fun; an outdoorsy boy who likes to ride in the car, play with toys, and run!

Blake may do well as an only pup, or with a family who`s willing to go slow when introducing him to any other resident pets. This sweet-as-pie pup is ready to head home- come meet Blake today!
