My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tiffin!

A little bit about her...
- Food motivated, loves treats, lots of treats
- Still fearful of pets, dont touch me I have rules
- Great with other cats
- rediculous bowl cut hairdo
- champion hide and seek contestant, (well hide anyway)

In her time outdoors, Tiffin was a mom, which has only amplified her bravery and intelligence. She's likely a champion hunter, crawling from the hidey holes to check out squeaky mice toys and chirping cat tv shows.
She's an independent girl, which means she's content doing her own thing, but she also appreciates quiet companionship.
A calm environment would be best suited for Tiffin. Also, having another cat companion or one of her kittens may ease her transition to a new home.

If you think this is the girl for you, submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit!

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
