Sunny is an affectionate, adventurous, intelligent, active six month old shepherd mix. Her mother is a purebred working-line German Shepherd and her father is a McNab Shepherd. She was born and spent the first couple months of her life on a farm surrounded by livestock, other dogs, cats, and young children.
She loves other dogs and is living with three other dogs and two cats in her foster home. She has been introduced to basic obedience training but is still very much a work in progress, like all puppies. She can be a bit shy and suspicious when first meeting new animals and people but warms up quickly and overall is quite resilient, inquisitive, and social.
Due to her breed mix and young age, continued training and socialization as well as prior experience with herding breeds are requirements for anyone considering adopting Sunny. This is a puppy that thrives on structure and loves to learn.
She would be an excellent candidate for an active individual or family looking for a lively, loving companion.
Sunny’s adoption fee is $200 and includes vaccinations, deworming, and microchip.
