My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At long last, Lana and Lincoln are finally available for adoption! These two siblings are almost a year old, so they are still pups. They are bonded and must go and stay together. They will require a patient owner, who has the time and ability to start from scratch as far as potty, behavior, leash, etc. training. These two were confiscated from a neglect situation and as far as we know, living in a car with other dogs as well as children. They went from there to here and although staff and volunteers have gotten them out into the play yard as much as possible, they’ve kind of grown up in not so ideal circumstances. This means that their transition from here will be glorious, yet challenging. They are still not going out of their kennel to use the bathroom, and this is no doubt caused by their former living situation. We can assure you that after all of this is corrected in a new home, it will be 100% worth it! These two goofy pups are so loving and crave human attention. Although they are strong and not, yet behavior trained, we think they would be good with respectful kids and even other dogs (meet and greet a must) Lana and Lincoln are Catahoula mixes, which is a loyal, protective, southern breed, that are good family dogs, but not suitable for small spaces, like apartments, condos or homes with no yard. This breed needs some space to thrive and given their former circumstances, deserve that space to finally be the pups they were meant to be.
