Meet our very sweet and unique kitty named Pepper Potts! Pepper is about 2 years old and she came to us after she was found outside with her kitten. Pepper's kitten has been adopted, but Pepper is looking for a home herself. She is a very friendly girl who loves to get attention from people. Pepper is still a bit on the skinny side, but she is a great eater and is slowly starting to gain weight. She likes to eat both dry and wet food, and she uses her litter box well. Pepper Potts is a really nice cat who would love a family to call her own! She is fine with other cats and dogs. Pepper Potts can go to a home with children 8 years old and older.

Meriden Animal Control IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.

An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.

ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
