Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dobby is a 3-year-old black mouth cur mix boy looking for a calm and patient family to call his own. Dobby doesn't have a lot of confidence, and would benefit from formal training which we think he would also really enjoy. He likes jerky treats, which helps a lot in his training efforts. He is getting better on leash and may enjoy a confident and easy-going dog friend to learn from. Once he knows you, Dobby will try to crawl in your lap to give hugs and kisses.

More about this shelter
We ask that anyone in need of surrendering an animal call for an appointment. Our name reflects our geographic service area, not a governmental body. We are a nonprofit agency dependent on private donations and are not supported by tax dollars. As a "special admission" shelter we accept all animals in need, but we do utilize an appointment policy to ensure there is space for all incoming animals. Thanks to a dedicated and caring staff and volunteers, and the monetary contributions of so many compassionate individuals and businesses in our community, we offer our animals the best of care as they await their new forever home.
