Hi, I'm Max! I'm just a puppy, but boy do I love to play. I've got energy to spare and I'm always ready for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. My goofiness is part of my charm, I can make anyone laugh with my silly antics. I'm also a loyal friend. I promise to always be by your side, ready to give you all the love and affection you need. I'm friendly too, I love meeting new people and making new friends. I know I'm still young, but I promise to be the best dog I can be. I just need someone to give me a chance. Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
