Voluptuous, happy, friendly Venus is seeking a home where she will be valued and given vittles and pets galore!
If you think Venus may be hard to walk because of her size/weight, think again! When we got outside, Venus pulled a little bit for the first minute or two, and every time she was moving towards things she wanted to sniff, thoroughly, on the ground. Her pulling was manageable, and very much worth it because when she found the thing she wanted to smell, she lingered making super cute snorting noises. Once we started moving, she found her walking stride and continued forward at a nice pace with a loose leash. While she enjoyed the sniffing part of our walk, I did not get the impression that Venus would need long distance walks or runs. I think our gal may prefer leisurely sniffaris at a casual pace
Venus was playful, wagged her tail a lot, enjoyed any attention and pets I gave her, showed some interest in toys, and was very interested in treats, which she took from my hand in a gentle. Venus alternated between focusing on me and exploring her surroundings. We saw one dog outside, and Venus tucked her tail, indicating that she may not be comfortable with all dogs (which is not uncommon). That said, when I brought Venus past other dogs in their kennels, she passed them without incident.
Venus was an absolute joy to spend time with! Venus` picture does not do her gorgeous coat of white with brown splotches justice, and no photo can transmit her wonderful personality! Hurry up and meet Venus!!
