If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Bentley came to us when a family member was hospitalized and we, as the cat people, agreed he needed consistent loving care. He arrived with some health issues which we have now managed and he is in wonderful condition overall. However, Bentley does not like our house of cats and would prefer a one cat household with adult caretakers who can focus on him and his needs. He needs an experienced adopter who can understand that he has been through some dramatic changes and losses in his 9 year old life that have made him a bit anxious.
He is a loving, sweet, and friendly cat who loves to just sit next to you and purr. He is a big boy, about 13 pounds, and loves food of any kind. He has stunning markings on his body and is very handsome.
