Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE READ DARREN’S BIO IN DETAIL TO ENSURE THAT HE WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE BEORE APPLYING. PEASE NOTE: DARREN IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE OTTAWA, ON AREA
We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Handsome Darren is a smart boy who learns quickly. He is still a puppy who has the “zooms” and will need training to become all he can be! He can be nervous in new surroundings and of small children but he is affectionate and loves to snuggle and give kisses whenever he can.
Darren is crate trained, and is house trained, His ideal home would be one with a secured backyard (no apartments or condos) and an adopter who has patience and can spend time with him. Someone who is energetic and loves to walk, run, hike and take him on fantastic adventures. He would be great as an agility dog since he can run like the wind. He is great with other dogs and cats, we do recommend children 12+ because he still is a puppy and he can be “mouthy” and “Jumpy” as we said, training will definite help this. He knows his commands and listens well but he does need someone who he will listen to because if you "give him an inch, he will take a mile"
If you feel you would be the right fit for Darren, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/
All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.
NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.
BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
