My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Ettore came to us from a rural Texas shelter when he and a female dog were brought in by a woman stating they were found at a rest area/  He front leg was badly swollen oozing blood. Upon being received by his medical foster our Vet was on stand-by.  The leg diagnosis is a sever bacterial infection down to the bone which is being treated along with a severe ear infection.  Even though all of this his personality is one of a very patient and loving Neo.  Once his infections are healed and he gain weight Ettore will be neutered and ready for his deserving forever.  If you believe you are his people please go to our website at Mastio-rescue-inc.org and complete a family.  Currently being fostered in Arizona, transportation assistance can be provided to the perfect home.  This boy has been through so much and deserves his happily ever after, are you it?

Additional adoption info

Our rescue is breed-specific to the Neapolitan Mastiff, and while this breed is amazingly unique, it is certainly not for everyone. We want to ensure every dog's next home is truly FOREVER, so we are very careful with our placements.

* Due to same sex-aggression being so common among bully breeds, we do not place Neos in homes with another bully breed of the same sex (they must be opposite sex).

* Due to insurance and liability purposes, we do not adopt to families with children under 10-years old living in the home.

* We strongly prefer our adopters to have a secure fenced yard (no electric fences), but we do make a few exceptions.

* You must own your own home (no renters, please).

* Previous guardian breed experience is strongly preferred

Go meet their pets

We are a foster-based rescue, and our dogs are spread out across the USA, so we do not have adoption events.
