My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benny- 60 lb, 12  months old, black with white paws, lab/shepard mix
Handsome Benny may look full grown but he's still just a playful, energetic puppy! This boy loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, he requires a fenced in yard where the fence is atleast 5 ft high so he can run and explore. He needs a doggie playmate.  He's agile enough to jump a fence should he want to, even though he has not tried at his foster home. He knows commands like come, sit and paw. Benny is a quiet, very friendly pup and great with people. He looks forward to cuddling up on the couch with his family. We think he would do very well in a two dog household as he does get lonely and bored when left alone. Exercise is a must for this boy so an active family would be great for him. He is fully potty trained.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
