My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.

Ellie arrived very pregnant. She gave birth to 4 babies on June 12th and sadly, only 2 survived.  She's a young girl and likely got pregnant with her 1st heat cycle.  That's all behind her now and it's time for her to forever be someone's baby girl.  She was pretty withdrawn while caring for her babies but once that was over with and she was introduced to the other small dogs in rescue, she flourished.  So she would probably do best with another dog friend in her new home.  She's been good with crate training and holding it until she's let outside for potty and play time.
She may be shy at first with her new people, time will tell, but if given a chance, you'll find a delightful, engaging little sweetie.

Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.

More about this rescue

We are a compassionate group of volunteers that rescue dogs mostly from shelters when their time is up or when they are at capacity and will have to euthanize adoptable pets. We get many different breeds both pure bred and mixes, from very tiny to very large.
We believe every adoptable animals should have a 2nd chance at a great life. We seek commited, equally passionate adopters to provide a wonderful, loving home to our dogs!
We also believe spaying & neutering is the answer to the homeless animal population along with education.
