Meet the tranquil Misty!

She is a beautiful tricolor Shepherd/Husky mix looking for her forever home. Found with her friend, Brock, at the local gas station- apparently they had been hanging around there for weeks :(
Misty and Brock were so thankful the day they were saved, by the rescue CHIEF on the day they were found.... Misty actually had an infection in her uterus and she would have died if not saved and spayed as quickly as she was :(
NOW she is healthy and happy and loving a new chance at a life she deserves!!
Misty is sweet and smart and so much more social, she is good with other beta dogs- she does like to be in charge a little, lol.
She is ready for that forever family who has the love and fun love of adventure that will keep Misty happy for years!!
ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!!!! Recycle a life or ten, PLEASE!!

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted.

So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
