Acquired Koa when he was only 2 days old, rejected by his mom. At 4 weeks, determined that he had a cleft palate. Began preparing dry dog food mixed with gelatin to prevent aspiration. He's had no health problems during his whole life (1 1/2 yrs old) continues to do well with eating (when fixed properly) and drinking. It takes about 10 minutes a night to fix his food for the next day.
Our living situation is such that we need to find him a good home. He is a great dog, full of energy and loyal to his family. He gets along with other dogs but can show some dominance. He's never bitten. Loves to play. Not sure about being around cats.
He loves to run in the woods, swim (surprisingly) and loves being around his family. Prefer he go to a family with lots of room to run off his energy. He loves kids. Can have him neutered before turned over to a new home. Call/text for more information.
