My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ORILLIA, ON - Never did we think we'd see so many puppies in SPIN but rescue work has taken a different turn these last few years. COVID-19 impacted the world, and since then it's been puppies and more puppies. Meet Mensa, a delightful puppy (born April 18/24) with an abundance of energy and joy. This fun-loving little guy is always ready for an adventure, bringing happiness wherever he goes. While Mensa is full of enthusiasm, he can be a bit anxious and needs some confidence-building.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Each adoptive family will complete an application, come out to meet the available dog(s) and then email us after the meeting to let us know their intentions to pursue the adoption. We will do a home visit, check their references and then decide on the best home for each dog. Once a home is chosen, the family will sign our adoption contract and pay the $450 adoption fee prior to taking their new family member home with them!

All our dogs are in loving foster homes so you must have an appointment to meet them.

More about this rescue

SPIN strives to educate and raise public awareness about how to be responsible for and share your life with a companion animal. We talk about the importance of spay/neuter programs, the deplorable conditions found in puppy mills and advocate for change. We are most proud, however, of our work in engaging like-minded people together by providing a forum to discuss how to care for and celebrate the poodle breed, but also to come together when necessary to help poodles in need.
