My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*NEW HOME NOVEMBER ADOPTION SPECIAL- REDUCED FEE $100*

This is Magnum. We believe that he is a 2-year-old Pittie mix.

Magnum came to Judy's Forgotten Jewells on July 30th. He was brought to us from a shelter in Louisiana that ran out of space and was going to have to euthanize him. Since he has been in care, staff members say that he is such a ham! He loves everyone he meets (including dogs) and is so happy to get love and attention from people. He is mostly housebroken so we think he would learn quickly in a new home with a routine. He gets very excited when he goes for a walk so he could use a little training on that. He is such a fun and smart guy!

The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, neuter, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption.

In addition to their adoption fee, there is a $50 fee to cover the 6 months of heartworm prevention we will send home with each adoptee.

More about this shelter

Judy’s Forgotten Jewells is a licensed Non-Profit No Kill Animal Rescue Group. It was founded by Patricia L. Smith DVM in honor of her mother’s childhood dog “Judy Dog” and Jewell Animal Hospital. Dr. Smith believes that ALL animals deserve quality pet care and a loving home. Our rescue is supported by volunteers, the hospital staff, and pet passionate people in our community who donate money and supplies. Our goal is to help the pets who are at risk of being euthanized, pregnant and or homeless.
