My husband and I got Koda as a puppy right before we got married and have had him for 8 years. He is a very sweet boy, very loyal, very loving but he doesn't do well with kids he doesn't know or kids who move fast (ie: running, jumping, yelling, etc). He has snapped at my kids (5y & 1y) once or twice and just recently snapped and lunged at a neighbor kid who was over playing in the yard who he was fine with up until the minute he decided he wasn't. He is unpredictable with children and I just cannot have that in my house anymore. We love Koda and it pains us to have had to come to this decision but he deserves better, if kids stress him out, he deserves to live the rest of his life without kids around him regularly. Koda will do best in a home with an older couple, he occasionally stays with my in-laws who are in their mid-late 60's, he LOVES being there. I am looking for someone who will take him and love him so much and care for him for the rest of his life.
