My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

08/30/24 17:30 Due to overcrowding in the shelter, kenneled with another pet of similar size. Both are doing well with each other, no aggression seen from either.
09/14/24 11:30 Took her out to play yard for pictures and a video. Video sent out for social media networking pages. She`s still on the fearful side. She was afraid of the leash but once on, she was ok with it. She walked ok except through thresholds where there had to be some convincing. Once in the yard she just walked along the perimeter of the yard, sniffing. at one point, when my back was turned, she came up close behind me and sniffed the air. She also same up to me for one treat but wouldn`t come back for the next. She showed no interest in toys of pets and scratches. She did seem like she wanted to visit the other dogs. Needs some time, space and patience to learn trust.

Additional adoption info

Dogs and cats are available for adoption at the animal shelter for a nominal fee. Visit the shelter to fill out an Adoption Consultation Form at the shelter. An Animal Care Technician will review this form and evaluate the adoption from both yours and the pet’s perspective. If the pet's date of availability has past, the person with an approved application will be able to adopt. If there is more than one person interested and approved on the date and time the pet becomes available, a drawing will take place in order to be fair to all parties involved.
