Clap along because I'm Happy! I love hanging out with my people whether it's snuggling up on the couch or playing. Peanut butter filled kongs or nylabones are my absolute favorite treats! I'm still a young guy that would love to have a yard of my own to run around in. I currently live with two senior dogs, I know how to respect my elders. I'm not a fan of cats and would prefer a forever family without them. I am house trained and crate trained. We try to make the process as smooth as possible and we want to set you and your new pet up for success. We always recommend doing a meet and greet with your dog before adding a new dog to your home and we are always happy to help with that.

We are a municipal shelter that takes in 2500-3000 animals a year. We are a small shelter with a dedicated team that works hard to keep the citizens and animals of Clay County safe and healthy. We rely on foster families and adopters to help us continue the work that we do.
