This beautiful red brown and white girl is a reservation in Browning "escapee" who came to our shelter to find a great new home. She is about 2 years of age we think and about 40-45 pounds. She is likely part Australian shepherd based on her 2 tone brown fur on her back, and part retriever based on her head shape and coloring. We call these beautiful dogs "rez blends" and they are usually great with everyone, very friendly, and have to be to survive there. This girl would make a great pet for anyone. She is spayed and microchipped and fully vaccinated and ready to go home and settle in. Due to being a Rez dog, she likely would like a yard to recreate in and several walks a day. Her adoption fee is $200 and if you would like to come and take her home, please fill out an application from TRACS website at pet-tracs.com and we will get back to you by text.

Our adoption fees do vary depending on the animal and all pets go to new owners already spayed and neutered, vaccinated and wormed. All adopters are given a two week adoption trial with an exchange guarantee if the animal does not work out. We require a completed adoption application, which is on line on our website, and a signed care contract. All pets go out with a copy of their signed agreement and a copy of their medical record. Fees for adult cats are $60-75 and kittens are $75. Fees for dogs are $125 to $200 for adult mixed breed up to $300 for purebred, small dog puppies.

Go meet their pets

TRACS offers appointments daily 1-5 PM during the week excluding Mondays to see and meet adoptable pets. Tracs also adopts cats and kittens from Petsmart in Missoula, Montana. We have adoption days for dogs and cats at Petsmart additionally about 6 times a year. We also attend annual adoption events in the Missoula and Kalispell areas of Montana.

TRACS has been in operation for 7 years and we have taken in and adopted out 3000 animals (as of 11/1/2013). We are mostly volunteers and pride ourselves on the fact that we have a new facility (small and humble but very comfortable) and have had for 2 years. We are a small budget organization and we receive no municipal or county support. We totally depend on donations to keep up our good work. We accept all donations of food, bedding, litter, or anything else that folks like to give us. Of course, monetary contributions are very much needed and are fully tax deductible.
