This adorable pair of best friends (Daisy & Tux) were surrendered by their heartbroken owner on July 12, 2024 (through no fault of their own) due to an unexpected housing issue.
Daisy is a beautiful 4-1/2 year old spayed female brown tabby with an affectionate easygoing personality.
Tux is a 2-year old neutered male black/white tuxedo with a sweet, rather demure, personality.
Daisy & Tux were inseparable in their previous home. Daisy seems to have assumed the role of ‘big sister/mother figure’ to Tux, and he depends upon her for comfort/security. Daisy & Tux are sharing a double-wide cage since we didn’t have the heart to separate them. Daisy weighs 10+ lbs. Tux weighs 8+ lbs.
Both of these awesome kitties were originally adopted from HSOV, and we know that they have known nothing but love and the best care in their previous home.
Daisy & Tux are looking for a fabulous home with someone who will once again love, cherish, and spoil them to their heart’s content.
Update: Daisy & Tux were adopted together on December 15, 2024 but were returned on December 22, 2024 through no fault of their own. There were small children in their new home which frightened Daisy & Tux, so they stayed hidden until the youngsters went to bed. Their family loved these kitties very much but felt it was unfair to them hiding most of the time.
Daisy and Tux are gentle and rather shy, so they are looking for a quiet home with someone who will have the patience to let them acclimate to their new surroundings on their own time frame (and with no small/active children in the home).
