Fiona’s story is one that tugs at the heartstrings. This sweet black and white kitty was once a hopeful little kitten, leaving FDHS three years ago with dreams of a forever home. But life didn’t turn out the way she had hoped. Struggling with anxiety, she was eventually returned to the shelter—confused, sad, and unsure of what went wrong.

Now, Fiona is back at FDHS, trying to find her footing once more. The bustling shelter environment overwhelms her, and she’s having a tough time adjusting. What she desperately needs is a calm, quiet home where she can finally find the peace she’s been searching for. Fiona may be a little timid, but with the right person, her heart has so much love to give. Could you be the one to give Fiona the safe, loving home she’s been longing for?

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
