This adventurous, curious, and brave kitten will be a wonderful addition to any family. She is extremely patient and adaptable. She likes dogs and other cats and even children too! She loves to cuddle and be pet. She will instantly purr when you hold or pet him. She feels as soft as silk, and he has the cutest “mews”. She enjoys playing, eating, and napping on your lap. She would love to cuddle with you in bed! Dopey is also very sneaky! She likes to run off with weird items from around the house. Her most recent conquest was a small plastic cup, a hair tie, and the lid to a bottle. Dopey is dopey and finds fun in everything she gets his paws on.

You may visit our cats at the Dancing Cat Cat lounge by appointment, or via Zoom for cats in foster homes.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
