My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Natalie came to us the day after a huge influx of kittens. “Please no one bring any more kittens!” we said. Well, Natalie wasn’t brought. This green-eyed girl walked herself to our front door! We checked the security video and there wasn’t a human in sight. Who knows what Natalie had in mind when she showed up - maybe she thought she could move directly into a community room? Whatever her expectations were, she was totally friendly until we started our intake process. Then she got Big Mad at us. She’s mostly calmed down since then. Treats go a long way! However, she would do a lot better in a home that can indulge this beautiful gray tabby’s free spirit. Our accommodations for monitoring new cats are not to her liking.
Natalie was born late October of 2023. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
