Meet Acer, a 2 year old lovable young lad who is looking for his forever home. Acer came to APA-Olivette in November after being rescued from a difficult situation where he and several other dogs were removed from his owner's home. Sadly, Acer was at the shelter ever since but is now in a foster home where he gets to experience the love and warmth of a true home.
Despite his past, Acer is a happy and friendly dog who loves to interact with people and other dogs and is just so eager to please. He is currently in a foster home with 5 other dogs, big and small, even cranky, and he has done amazing. He loves to play with his foster brother who is his size and he can’t have enough toys toys toys and/or balls to chase. He can jump a fence if there is something on the other side he wants to get to, such as you so a privacy fence or larger fence is ideal. He would do great in a home with another dog and/or kids to play with him as he has a lot of energy. He would make a great agility dog if someone is so inclined or an active person that loves to hike and wants a buddy to accompany them. He seems to be potty trained even though his foster siblings are not.
If you fit the criteria, he will not disappoint as he really is a big baby that just wants to be with his people (preferably on your lap) after a day of playing.
