Meet Barbie and Skipper, two sweet and cuddly dwarf hamsters ready to find their forever home! These lovely ladies are the daughters of Midge, who was rescued from an LA shelter along with 32 other hamsters facing euthanasia. We stepped in just in time, and Midge gave birth to Barbie, Skipper, and their sister Kelly (who is separated) on August 14, 2024.

Now considered seniors, Barbie and Skipper have started to show their age with a bit of greying and hair thinning, but their hearts are as warm and loving as ever. They are incredibly affectionate and would love to spend their golden days in a comfy, loving space where they can enjoy all the care and attention they deserve.

These beautiful sisters are ready to bring joy and companionship into your home. Barbie and Skipper are sure to add a touch of sweetness to your life. Give them a chance to enjoy their well-deserved retirement in a cozy home!

Our adoption requirements are (1) cage that meets or exceeds 450 square inches for dwarf hamsters and 600 square inches for Syrian hamsters (2) safe and appropriately sized wheel. Solid running surface; 8" for dwarves, 12" for Syrian hamsters (3) nutritious food. We recommend Mazuri/Higgin's Sunburst

We are Snow White's Rescue Cottage, a rescue for dwarf hamsters located in Camarillo, CA. We pull hamsters from local owners as well as LA County Shelters, and we typically have over 100 hamsters!
