My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Serena, a lovely black DSH cat with subtle grey undertones and striking green eyes. It is estimated that I was born around February 2, 2019, and I'm on the lookout for a forever home. I'm a super friendly girl who absolutely adores full-body pets, brushing, and cuddles. I'm a confident and curious cat who loves to explore and be around people. I enjoy rubbing against legs and being part of whatever is going on. It is a bit surprising that my personality has been so steady since so much has happened in the past year. After my owner passed away, my friend Santa Cruz and I ended up alone in an empty house. The extended family brought food and water for Santa Cruz and thought I had passed away too long before, so it was a surprise to them when I was discovered in a trap recently left behind. I joined Santa Cruz at Wild Blue Cats, and I've helped him to relax just being with him again. We had little socialization while we were in that empty home, but despite this, I'm incredibly sweet and crave attention. I am overjoyed to have company once again. If you're looking for a caring and affectionate companion who will shower you with love, I'm your girl. Since I love people, I would do well in an active home with kids (7+ years) and possibly another cat. If you are interested in adopting Santa Cruz too, that would make us happy, although he would need some understanding and patience getting used to a busy household. A friendly dog is also a possibility for me. Please follow Wild Blue's instructions for introducing me to any pets you own. To meet me, please fill out an application online at www.wbcats.org/adopt. I can't wait!September 14, 2024, 3:02 pm
