Meet NUBE, an 8 month old 20lb Beagle/Terrier girl! She is a super sweet girl who warms up fast once she gets to know you! Her name means “Cloud” in Spanish.
She loves to play, and though she has no problem using the backyard (no puppy pads needed!), she’s still learning how to use the bathroom on leash on walks. She’s also still learning to walk properly on leash but is very curious about the outside world and loves to meet all the animal friends - we think she’ll get the hang of it in no time at all.
Nube is a little apprehensive of men, but she’s learning quickly that they’re friends too! She’d do well in a home with other pets, especially dogs, and would really enjoy a larger backyard where she can run and play. She gets along very well with her foster feline and canine siblings, and easily calms down when they’ve had enough of her hyper antics. She is quite high energy, which is expected for an 8 month old puppy, but relaxes easily enough in her crate, which is her safe space. We use her crate to decompress and she’s quite content.
She’s a huge fan of food and treats. She knows how to sit on command and we’re working on down and stay - she’s very eager to learn and work and would do great with a fairly active family.
If you’re looking for a sweet happy pup full of kisses and adventure, Nube is your girl! She is being fostered in Richmond Hill.
