Meet Chico a sweet 4-5 year old young man who lost his pet parent. She passed away and the son can’t keep the dog. He is just the best dog all the way around. House trained but will use peepee pads if he has to. He much prefers to go outside! He is a laid back dog and not super demanding. Easy to get along with and affectionate. He has not suffered any abuse or neglect and has only had one previous home. Would be a great dog for a settled person who wants company.
His eyes are just striking. You can’t not helped to notice them. One is a super bright blue
While the other is brown.

RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:

A potential adopter will submit an application. A vet reference is very helpful and will speed the adoption process along. Once approved, a phone interview will be conducted and the adopter will sign a contract. Transport will then be scheduled to bring the new pet home.
