Once upon a starry quiet night on a shared church wall, with bushes all around, an all-white fur figure appeared, with big yellow eyes. He joined the other stray and feral kitties, hoping for some food from the girl. The girl bopped his little nose as he came near, and she knew he was different: tame and extra special. As if to show his affection, he circled around her feet, longing to be loved." She immediately called him “Kimba” for her favorite childhood tv show, “Kimba the White Lion”, and he took to his name right away.
Kimba had an owner, and nobody came for him “claimed him”. Finally, after many gentle tries from the girl to rescue him and give him a better life, one day he calmly walked right into the girl’s carrier, and the rest is history. Now, Kimba is safe and loved with us at our rescue, waiting for his forever, loving home.
Kimba is an absolute love! He has beautiful all white fur and big sunny eyes. He has an amazing, chill purrrsonality. He wants to be with with his human, making biscuits of love. He enjoys all his toys, and likes making cat friends.
Behavior: We don’t exactly know his trauma, at times he is unsure, can react for no apparent reason we see. We are trying to teach him appropriate play and no hard play-bites. For his rescuer, he will bat at her feet upon needing to leave, so we are working on all of this with him. We feel in time, he will learn nobody is abandoning him again. While he is acclimating to a safe, comfy, happy life, he loves to be petted on his head.
He has a clean bill of health from our veterinarian, and is fully vetted and neutered. The vet and team told us they all loved him while there. He was such a good boy for them.
If you are looking for a nice sweet kitty, and want to give him the opportunity at real love, safety in a real home, please fill out the application, and schedule a meet and greet.
We think Kimba is a perfect kitty!
If you are looking for an amazing cat, Kimba is your BOY! Submit the adoption application to be approved to meet him.

Additional adoption info
We do have an application form on our website. A home check is also done. We know our animals well and work hard to make sure the adoption will be a purr-fect match! We will be happy to answer your questions. We want an adoption to be the right fit for both the humans and the animal.
When you adopt a pet from us, you can rest assured that you are getting a pet who is much loved, well-cared for, and whom we know well. In turn, we know that an adopter will provide a loving, caring, home.
Cat adoptions are usually $125 each. Dog fees are based on breed. All are current on vaccinations and neutering. Some are microchipped. They are vetted again before delivery.
All of our adoptable cats and dogs are pictured on our website, with their videos, at www.lifelineforpets.org.
