My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name, age: Big Boy, 7 years old.

Likes: Nestling in the clothes closet and having his chin scratched. Getting his nails trimmed.

Dislikes: Brushing of his fur - not his favourite pastime.

What would be the ideal home? An active home with pets and kids, but with great hiding places to find the occasional bit of peace and quiet.

Good with other cats? Yes.

Good with dogs? Yes. Even tolerates rambunctious dogs, from a safe distance.

Good with children? Yes.

Personality: Independent and laid-back, social at night-time and in the early morning.

How long will it take to settle into a new environment? Probably around 4 to 8 weeks.

Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? He doesn't mind when you pick him up, but he doesn't like being held for too long - he won't hiss or scratch, he just tries to jump out of your arms. He loves to be touched on his head and petted.

Medical: On a gastro diet
