What my friends at ACC say about me:
Allie tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
What do you get when you cross a cat with a couch? A cat-potato! And that's me to a T!

Allie tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. She will likely need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that she go to a home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.
My current foster writes: Looking for a playful, confident cat who's always ready for some fun? Allie is your girl! Whether she's chasing toys or batting around paper balls, she enjoys both interactive play and solo games. From the moment she arrived, Allie wasted no time hiding-she was too busy exploring every corner and greeting us with excitement! She'll welcome you with soft meows every time you come home and loves to follow you around, eager to be part of the action. When it's time to relax, she'll happily lounge on the couch beside you. And don't be surprised if she gives you a sweet headbutt for some extra petting!
My previous foster writes: Meet Allie, a loving and curious cat who's ready to brighten your home! She's low-maintenance and smart-mastering the litter box on day one and never damaging our furniture. Allie's adventurous and affectionate nature had her exploring our apartment and asking for petting within hours of arriving. She loves to follow us around and especially enjoys lounging on the couch next to us, often showing her belly and soaking up head and chin rubs. Allie also has a sweet habit of greeting us with gentle meows when we return home and come out of the bedroom in the morning. Sometimes, she'll sit by the window, watching the world go by. With her sweet, affectionate nature, Allie is the perfect companion for a loving home.
A volunteer writes: Sitting right at the front of her condo and watching me with her cheeks puffed out like I was a giant cat toy, I was immediately smitten by Allie's curiosity. I went over to say hi with an actual cat toy and Allie took a couple steps back. Her previous family explained that Allie can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but then becomes her friendly and outgoing self. With this in mind, I introduced myself with play and after a few minutes of pipe cleaner feather, Allie gently cuddled into my arms. Sweetly tucking her head into my hand, she bowed forward for all the pets and softly leaned her cheeks into my hand. Being in the shelter after having a family is a big change, so it's understandable that Allie can seem a little unsure about where she wants to be. I think, however, that she really wants to
