Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tarot is a beautiful 2 year old buff girl ready to find her forever home.
Tarot came to H.O.P.E. with 16 other cats after their caregiver unexpectedly passed away. Being that the caregiver only came out to feed them, they were never able to form secure, trusting relationships. Since coming to H.O.P.E., Tarot has become more social, and comfortable around humans. We are still working on socializing her, and encouraging her to accept human pets, but we believe that given a patient family, she will blossom into a well-mannered cat.
Tarot does have FIV, but it is well managed. FIV is only transmittable to cats through deep wound bites, so she CAN live with other cats. Tarot has shown interest in other cats (including kittens), so we think she would do okay with another cat in the house.

More about this rescue
We mainly rescue dogs and cats from local Animal Shelters/Control when those facilities are overcrowded. Our adoptable cats are located in our H.O.P.E. Pet Adoption Center in the Wilton Mall and dogs are in individual foster homes.
We have educational programs for children and adults about choosing a pet and the responsibilities of pet ownership, and safety around animals.
We welcome volunteers for any of these programs or for our fundraising committee.
