Meet Remus!
This beautiful boy was surrounded to HSoP when he and the other cat in the home weren't seeing eye-to-eye. Remus was determined to play with his feline friend, but the other kitty was not interested or appreciative of his advances. Now Remus is searching for a new loving home!
Remus is estimated to be around 3 years old. Like we mentioned above, Remus was just a bit too playful for the other cat in the home. This leads us to believe that Remus would do well with another cat in his future home - especially one that likes to play! He seems unbothered by the other kitty friends at the shelter, and truly shines when he's getting attention from human friends.
This cat is a total love. Remus enjoys flopping over to be belly-up, and sometimes it feels like he's just showing off how swiftly he can roll around. You'll notice immediately when you meet him that Remus has a strange tail! It's bent and curled in a way that's very distinct, making him truly one-of-a-kind. It doesn't seem to bother him one bit.
Remus appreciates love and affection from his human friends. As long as he has the freedom to come and go as he pleases, Remus is sure to be a happy camper. He doesn't seem outwardly interested in toys so far, but that may change! The more likely story is that Remus would prefer another cat to play with over toys of his own.
We aren't sure how Remus would do in a home with dogs. We do offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption, which helps to ensure a good fit for all members of the family!
Remus is neutered, current on vaccines, and will leave HSoP with a microchip containing his new owner's information. Anyone interested in Remus is welcome to visit him at HSoP between 2:00-6:00pm Monday through Saturday with no appointment needed. PLEASE NOTE: Dog kennels close at 5:00pm each day.
