Meet Harriet: The Petite Sweetheart
Harriet is a delightful petite kitty, just 10 months old, with soft dark gray fur and a charming white belly. Though she tends to be a quiet girl, she shines brightest when she’s with her kitty friends, gaining confidence in their company.
Shy around new people at first, once Harriet trusts you, get ready for her playful spirit to emerge! She adores pets and is more than happy to be picked up for a cozy snuggle. With her typical energetic kitty antics, she loves to watch the world go by from her favorite window perch, always on the lookout for exciting sights.
If you’re looking for a loving companion who will warm your heart, Harriet might just be the perfect match!
Harriet is a petite young kitty with enchanting dark gray fur accented by soft white highlights. Found as an older stray kitten, this little lady has a gentle spirit and a heart full of love, just waiting to bloom.
At first, Harriet may be a bit shy, taking her time to warm up to new humans. But once you’ve earned her trust, you’ll discover a loyal companion who adores cuddles and affection. She’s the kind of friend who appreciates the quiet moments—snuggling up with you or basking in the sun.
Harriet is also playful and enjoys spending time with her pals, Hermie and Harry. Whether it’s chasing a toy or engaging in a game of hide-and-seek, she brings joy to every playtime.
If you’re patient and ready to offer her the love she deserves, Harriet will soon become your best friend, filling your home with warmth and laughter. Adopt Harriet and experience the magic of a friendship that grows stronger with each passing day!
Harriet was a stray. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
