My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Black Bean! This silly, snuggly boy is ready for a home of his own.

Black Bean lives up to his soup-based name! He is a warm bowl of cuddles who likes to lie directly on your laptop as you're working from home, with lots of spice towards the cat wand toys that keep him entertained for hours. He makes up for this petite size with a big personality, knowing that you can never turn away his requests for cheek scratches. He loves to have conversations with everyone, even himself, but he's also content taking a snooze next to you on a night in. He loves to explore and you may catch him doing laps around the house to stay fit. He thrives being an only-cat in the family, and would love a home with a Work From Home or Stay at Home human to keep him company.

Because Black Bean has a sensitive stomach, he is on a prescription food that he enjoys! He is otherwise healthy, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and ready to pack his bags to go home with his forever family! Black Bean is ready to lie on your laptop today!

More about this rescue

Tenth Life's Mission:
Giving cats the lives they deserve.
At Tenth Life, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life.
We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. We work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.

Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat's medical needs are challenging or expensive.
