Bonnie is a super sweet, 3 year old Flat Coat Retriever (possible mix), who was left with an elderly woman who tried, and just could not care for her, so she turned to GRRAND for help. This poor girl had spent her time on a tie out tied to a cinder block, in a small crate on the porch or running loose in the country and there was worries the neighbors would hurt her or she would get hit by a car, and she is now in a foster home getting lots of TLC! This is what her foster says:
"Bonnie is a sweet and loving dog looking for her forever home. She walks wonderfully on a leash and enjoys her daily strolls. On her walks, people often stop to compliment her beauty, which she graciously accepts with a wagging tail. She even crosses her paws like a lady, adding to her charm. Bonnie is also very playful and loves to play ball, so she would need a home with plenty of room to run and play. She would do well in a home with a confident dog companion who can show her the ropes and help her feel secure. Due to her playful nature, she might do best in a home without small children as she gets bouncy and twirly when she sees you, but tries to contain her excitement as best she can and she loves to do the zoomies!
She thrives on human connection and affection, making her a perfect companion for someone who enjoys spending quality time with their pet. Bonnie is also crate trained, which makes her an easy addition to any household. As you can see from her pictures, she loves her doggie pool too!
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and playful friend, Bonnie could be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet her and see if she’s the one for you"!
