Angus is a 1-2 year YOUNG, australian shepherd mix who came to us from a shelter with more dogs than adopters. Like his namesake, Angus is petite, good natured, full of energy and ready to rock! You'll be "Thunder Struck" by his good looks and his coat is "Back in Black" But his personalily is equally charming. He's good with dogs and kids and sure knows how to put on a show! Angus loves to ride in cars so put on the soundtrack for Maximum OverDrive and jam out to some "Who Made Who" with this rockstar as your shot gun! And for "Those About to Adopt Rock (And Adopt!) ...We Salute You!"

Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
