Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mercy! Mercy is a year and half yr old Australian shepherd with a fluffy full tail who was recently surrendered by her family as they no longer had time or space for her. She is good with kids, people and dogs. She does OK with dog savvy cats but requires supervision as she does like to chase.
Mercy loves to play fetch, go on long walks and get lots of snuggles and pets. She is a very sweet and curious girl who has a lot of energy. She loves meeting new people but has a tendency to jump a lot, she gets very excited and is currently working on the “off” command. She is a very smart girl, crate and potty trained. She is looking for an active family who can keep her busy, build a consistent schedule and continue with her training.
The details:
Needs fence: No
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Yes - requires a dog savvy cat
Good with kids: Yes
All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. You can find our application at www.aussierescuemn.com. All dogs have an adoption fee of $400 plus MN sales tax. We pride ourselves on matches that are awesome for both the dog and your family. Aussie Rescue of MN is here for support, advice and as a safety net for our dogs for the rest of their lives.
