My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eloise is a beautiful 5 yr old Cocker Spaniel. She was recently rescued from an Amish puppy mill. She is still shy and nervous but learning about living in a home. She is sweet and will warm up slowly. She is good with dogs, cats and kids but loud noises do startle her. She is working on housebreaking and learning what a comfortable bed is. This girl would do best with a fenced in yard and another dog to help her come out of her shell.

Adoption fee is $450

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
