My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This tall lovebug loves sitting in windows watching the neighborhood hubbub & can do some pretty amazing backflips when chasing a fishing-pole toy. He will cuddle up next to you at the random times of day when you're feeling lazy and will fall asleep next to you or will ask you for pets during your favorite show. Super mellow, but still has some of that kitten energy which can be satiated by a few waves of a fishing toy or catnip. Gets along with other cats, people, dogs even but may take some time for overexcited ones. Also, fine around loud noises. He warms up quickly and just wants to chill and be pet.

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
