Leo is looking for their forever home!

WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Leo is a really sweet, cuddly dog with a big heart (and a big head). He's a great couch buddy and loves to snuggle while you watch TV. He also loves to play with you or his toys. He adores his blankets. He is gentle and patient with kids, though he can get excited and nervous with the chaos. He's currently working on not being mouthy when he sees his favorite people; he just gets so excited and wants to shower you with love, but forgets that he's no longer a tiny puppy. He forms close bonds with his people; if you want a loyal and loving sidekick, Leo's your pup.

Leo's currently working on drop with treat substitution, leash walking, and off. With his training, he benefits from firm boundaries and is responsive to corrections. We suspect that this very food and toy motivated boy will be easy to train. He also seems to do well with being left alone. In his foster home, he's behind a baby gate in the kitchen with his blankets and toys when alone and is always relaxed when returned to (though immediately ready for your love and attention).

Leo is the perfect fit for a house that has time to do just a little obedience training. He loves his walks and would also enjoy other enrichment, like puzzles or tougher chew toys. Leo is a very sweet and loving dog who will reward his future people with cuteness, snuggles, and devotion.
