My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammie is an adorable terrier mix who is about 21 months old. He is shy when meeting new people, but warms up well with a little love, patience, and sometimes treats! Sammie has been with me since the end of June. He is crate trained and has learned basic commands. He has done ok meeting friends dogs but may need more practice with socialization. (He can get a little worked up seeing dogs when leashed). I need to rehome Sammie because my two cats have not adjusted to a pup who wants to play and chase. The pets are kept separate and Sammie has improved with training, but unfortunately the cats are not receptive. I am dealing with a health issue making it difficult to dedicate the time needed. I believe Sammie is a great companion who will do best in a calm household without cats and people who can help him continue to build his confidence and become the best dog he can be!
