My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NEFERTITI was a friendly stray that was found with her babies by a good Samaritan. After finding homes for a few of the kittens, Nefertiti was surrendered to us with her two remaining kittens (CASH and CAREY). She was a very good momma but now it’s time for her to have a home of her own. Nefertiti is around 1-2 years old. She loves people and being petted. She is very playful and can be a chatty girl, especially when watching birds through the window. Nef was protective of her kittens and hissed when other cats came to the bedroom door so not sure how she would do with other kitties. Foster home is currently a dog-free zone but she will be dog tested at Pet Supplies Plus after she heals from her spay surgery. Nefertiti has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV/Leukemia. Adoption $100. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you are interested in adding this sweet girl to your family!

Go meet their pets

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

More about this rescue

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.
