My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Conner is an incredibly charming and athletic Terrier who recently made his way from the San Antonio ACS Slammer into the loving arms of a rescue. His journey from an overlooked pup to a beloved companion is a testament to the incredible spirit this little guy has. We’re so thrilled that he’s found his way to us because he truly is a gem!

Weighing in at a sprightly 18.10 pounds, Conner is as friendly as they come. He’s always ready for an adventure—whether it's exploring new trails or discovering hidden treasures on a weekend outing. But don’t let his energetic spirit fool you; Conner is also a pro at cozying up and unwinding after a day of excitement. He’s the perfect mix of adventure-seeker and snuggle buddy, making him an ideal companion for both fun outings and relaxing evenings watching TV.

Conner gets along wonderfully with other small dogs, making him a great addition to a multi-pet household. He’s fully vetted, including a ProHeart 6, which will keep him protected from Heartworms until 02/13/2025.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and active furry friend to join your family, Conner might just be your perfect match. To make this delightful Terrier a part of your life, please visit www.adoggie4you.org to apply. His adoption fee is $300. Don’t miss out on the chance to bring Conner into your home—he’s ready to fill your life with joy and love!

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested

All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella, heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.

Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.

Our dogs are posted on our website. Generally they live at our facility located on a beautiful 100 acre ranch in Texas. We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dog. We pride ourselves in providing a complete and honest evaluation of each dog to ensure the best possible placement for both the dog and the adopter. We welcome your visit to our facility in Texas.
