Dog's name: Penny
Age: 10
Breed, if known (best guess): Jack Russell Terrier mix
Weight: 12.9kg / 28lbs
Gender: Female
**NEW FUR-EVER HOME OR LONG-TERM FOSTER NEEDED**
Meet Miss Penny! Penny is a wonderful dog. She is smart, sweet, chill, and loves spending quality time with her humans, though she is not much of a cuddler. Some of her favourite activities are basking in the sunshine, sniffing through tall grass, gazing out windows, and joining her humans on car rides or road trips. Penny is also extremely adaptable, flexible, and HIGHLY trainable. She's got all of her foundational commands down, plus some fancier ones, cooperative care protocol, and she's nice & polite walking on lead.
Penny is a VIP and needs to be in a one-dog, no-kid home.
Penny is reactive to some situations and that does require management. Part of this is taking anti-anxiety medication (x3)/day. She would be best suited to someone who is experienced with behaviour modification and positive reinforcement training methods. I will be happy to have a full conversation regarding this with whoever is interested in adopting Penny.
Penny is in excellent health, spayed, and is up to date on all of her shots.
We are asking for $150 which will be donated to the BCSPCA. Alternatively, for those who are interested in fostering her, the time frame we are looking for is ~1.5yr.
Life with Penny is incredibly fulfilling, rewarding, fun, and heartwarming.
For those who are interested, please contact Robyn at 604-716-8204.

Take the Pet Home
As adopters of overseas dogs will be taking their dog home from the airport, they have a couple of weeks to decide if the dog is a fit.
