Flareon is one half of a bonded pair. He will need time to warm up to his new family and build trust due to past experiences. He is affectionate, playful and intelligent. Flareon's BFF is Parker Sunshine. They are FIP survivors who met during 3 months of treatment. They are truly each others' support animals.

About Parker:

Appx DOB: 10/15/2021

Parker is one half of a bonded pair. He is intelligent, affectionate, sweet, but slow to trust. Parker spent the first several years of his life on the streets and literally has the scars to show it. Because of previous injuries the is particular about his pets. He likes to be scratched along the black line on his back. If you touch him where he does not like, he will let you know by crouching low. Once he trusts you he will come to you for love and rub all over you. Parker met his BFF Flareon Ketchum while undergoing 3 months of fip treatment. They are each others' support animals and rub up against each other for comfort. If you are willing to give them time to trust you your reward will be 2 loving, affectionate, and devoted boys.

Words to Describe Me: Loving, Intelligent, protective

Favorite Place to Sleep: soft blankets

Perfect Day: morning treats, morning wet food, head scratches, nap, dinner, human love

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
