What to say about Raven? In a word, puppy. In a sentence, she has the courage and loyalty of a shepherd, the sass and silliness of a husky, the enthusiasm of a lab, the smarts of a border collie, and the work ethic of all four.
Raven was about 2 ½ months old when I found her on the side of the road. When I rescued her, I underestimated her needs and energy level, the progression in the decline of my health, and the increase in the level of fatigue I now endure. She needs a much more active home with someone(s) who can work with her and has experience with huskies, shepherds, or just more active breeds in general. She needs a home where there are no cats or small animals that might trigger her prey drive, including small dogs. She can get along with dogs, but she's selective and somewhat dominating, so I recommend only male dogs that are larger than her. She bonds strongly with one or two people and can be wary of strangers, but once she gets to know people she's very friendly.
