Hello there, I'm Macho. I'm a bit of a wallflower, I admit. I prefer quiet corners and gentle strokes. Loud noises startle me, so I might hide for a bit. But don't worry, I'll come out when it's calm again. I love curling up for a good nap, I'm quite the champion sleeper! I'm also a purr machine, once I get comfortable with you. I may be shy, but I've got a lot of love to give. I just need a patient, understanding friend who'll give me the time I need to blossom. I promise, I'm worth the wait. More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
